The sweet spot is DDR5-6000 CL30. On AMD AM5 the memory controller runs in sync 1:1 with the memory (UCLK:MCLK) up to 6000 MT/s, so 6000 CL30 gives the best real-world latency; going faster usually forces a 1:2 ratio that costs more than it gains. Recent Intel chips tolerate higher speeds, but 6000-6400 CL30-32 remains the value pick. Whatever you buy, enable EXPO/XMP in the BIOS or it runs slow.
